Injection Molding
Injection molding involves plasticizing plastic granules and then injecting them into a mold under high pressure. After cooling, the material takes on the exact shape of the mold while preserving the smallest details, surface structure, and dimensional repeatability.
This technology is ideal for serial production of complex components, including those with complex geometry, tight tolerances, and surface quality requirements.

Extrusion process
The first step is designing the component we want to obtain. The engineering team prepares drawings and models with precise dimensions and selects the appropriate plastic for the application and location where the product will be used.
Based on drawings and models, an injection mold is manufactured that will be used to produce the previously designed component.
The material, such as plastic in granule form, is placed in the machine. The plastic is then heated using electric heating elements and mixed by the rotational movement of the screw. The combination of high pressure and temperature ensures the material is evenly heated.
The molten plastic is injected through a nozzle into the mold cavity. The injection pressure is important and varies for different equipment. The filled mold is then cooled or heated depending on the plastic used. This causes the introduced plastic to harden.
The product is automatically ejected from the mold using a special system inside the injection molding machine. After emptying, the mold is tightly closed and the entire injection cycle can be repeated. The product may have plastic residue on the mold contact edges, so residue is automatically removed and contact edges are polished so the final product looks as intended.
